Meet Our Team

Dr. Jacob Vencil

Dr. Vencil attended the University of Florida, where he was awarded a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science followed by a Doctorate degree in Veterinary Medicine. During his time in Gainesville, Dr. Vencil met his wife, Jennifer. He was also there to celebrate four Gators NCAA Championships. You could say it was a pretty great eight years!

Dr. Vencil and Jennifer (also a veterinarian) returned to the coast of Northeast Florida in 2013 where he worked for three years as veterinarian at a large 24-hour animal ER in Palm Coast. It was an opportunity that provided a tremendous amount of experience with complicated medical and surgical cases and state of the art equipment. Dr. Vencil was recently drawn to practice in Ponte Vedra by the beautiful beaches and fantastic community.

Though he enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, Dr. Vencil takes a special interest in surgery, dermatology and internal medicine. He looks forward to providing excellent care for your pets.

Dr. Vencil and Jennifer have three children. Their four-legged family members include Maggie (Labrador mix), Stitch (Boston Terrier mix), and Reesie (Tortoiseshell cat).

Dr. Jennifer Cadieu

Dr. Jennifer Cadieu attended the University of North Florida, where she completed a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She continued on with her studies at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, where she was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2009.

Throughout her career, Dr. Cadieu has had the opportunity to practice in various fields of veterinary medicine including primary care/general practice, emergency and critical care, as well as a low-cost/shelter medicine setting. She has been fortunate to work alongside veterinary specialists in several areas and brings a wealth of knowledge and diverse experience to our practice. Dr. Cadieu enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine with a particular interest in emergency/critical care, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry.

Dr. Cadieu and her husband, Jason, have three wonderful children – Lainie, Jackson, and Colton. They have one goofy black lab mix named Rally, and three kitties (Biscuits, Pilgrim and Fat Kitty) that complete their family. After a few years on the West Coast, Dr. Cadieu and her family are very happy to be back in Ponte Vedra enjoying the Florida sunshine! Dr. Cadieu enjoys hiking, being on the water, fitness, reading, and anything outdoors.

Dr. Cadieu looks forward to meeting you soon and developing a meaningful relationship with both you and your pet. She’s excited to have the amazing opportunity to provide excellent care and help our patients live their best lives!

Dr. Raina Pannee

About 17 years ago, Dr. Raina adopted a little puppy she named Delphi, a pivotal moment that altered her life trajectory towards becoming a veterinarian. Delphi’s health struggles led them to frequent visits to the vet hospital, fostering Dr. Raina’s passion for veterinary medicine through the dedicated care she provided.

The profound bond shared with Delphi was a catalyst, shaping Dr. Raina’s commitment to treating her patients with the same level of devotion. Recognizing the significance of the human-animal bond, she strives daily to ensure her patients receive the utmost care, drawing inspiration from her experience with Delphi.

Dr. Raina holds a distinguished 2013 graduation from Oklahoma State University, where she excelled academically. Having practiced in Virginia and West Virginia before settling in Florida, she brings a wealth of diverse veterinary expertise to her role.

When not caring for animals, Dr. Raina cherishes quality time with her family and finds solace in outdoor activities, embracing nature during her leisure hours. Her dedication to her profession resonates within the compassionate team at Sea Oats Animal Hospital, where their collective passion for patient care and client support mirrors her own values.
