Why Vaccination Of Dogs And Cats Is Important
Vaccinations for people and pets serve the same function, to prevent illness caused by specific diseases that are likely to be encountered in the course of life. Many of the diseases your dog or cat can contract can also be passed on to humans and other animals, causing disability, suffering, and often death. Treating these diseases once they develop can be costly, much more so than preventing them from occurring with vaccinations. It’s a routine, safe, and affordable investment in the health of your pet.
Core And Recommended Vaccination Of Dogs And Cats
The types of vaccines for dogs and cats differ slightly because they are at risk from different diseases. Some will be given to all cats and dogs, while others will be recommended by your vet based on their individual health profile, determined by examination and health screening tests, and their lifestyle.
